St Awdrys Cottage is within 5 minutes walk from the Barking Underground station, which is served by the District and City and Hammersmith underground (tube) trains and the fast comfortable C2C train which takes 10 minutes to Fenchurch street station in the City of London. The advantage of living in St Awdrys Cottage is that you have all your family comforts, close to the shopping centre and Lidls supermarket which gives you quality food at cheap prices. If you like restaurants and pubs then you have a great choice and it does not cost a fortune to enjoy a good meal.
You will live amongst real Londoners and really experience life in London. Barking has a great street market on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays where you can have a laugh and buy bargains
We have owned the cottage for over 10 years and hundreds of visitors have enjoyed their stay at the cottage. The accommodation consists of a studio flat which can sleep up to 3 people. It has its own kitchen and bathroom and is totally self contained. It has a double bed and a single sofa bed.
The Two bed roomed flat consists of the main bed room with a double bed and another bedroom with twin beds (Ideal for teenage children who want to be away from their parents) plus a large kitchen and massive bathroom. There are 2 single sofa beds in the kitchen which can be used as a couch or beds if you need accommodation for another 2 people. Sleeps up to 5 people. The accommodation is totally flexible and it is up to you how you use it.
